How You Can Help

Ways to help patients and Stonerise team members during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Coronavirus pandemic has presented challenges to patients, their loved ones and caregivers, and Stonerise team members.

Thank you for your interest in sending our patients and dedicated team members your love and encouragement. Our patients and team members enjoy receiving well wishes from people in the community. There are several ways to show your appreciation for our patients and team members:

How to send well wishes

We started Project Well Wishes to give people a way to remind patients and team members they are loved, appreciated and prayed for. Our patients and team members have been delighted in the outpouring of support from our local communities and even out of state.

If you would like to help, please send postcards, letters or paper art in an un-licked envelope to ATTN: Project Well Wishes, and specify in parentheses whether your letter is for (Patients) or (Team Members).

You can mail your appreciation to:

ATTN: Project Well Wishes (Patients) or (Team Members)
Stonerise Healthcare
700 Chappell Road
Charleston, WV 25304

Virtual wishes via audio or video recordings are also welcome. Please email or post to your social media using #projectwellwishes.

How to send Coronavirus care donations

Thousands of our team members—both clinicians and supporting roles—are caring for our most vulnerable population during the Coronavirus pandemic. They do so with grace, patience and love every day despite struggles at home with the increasing number of economic hardships related to the pandemic.

Stonerise is distributing gift cards to our transitional care, home health, therapy and hospice team members who are struggling financially due to the pandemic. We are here for them just as they are here for our community when we need them the most. Your donation will go directly to these frontline heroes.

At this time, the most efficient way to show your appreciation is through gift cards in $25 values. We recommend basic needs outlets like Walmart, Kroger, and Amazon.

Please mail gift cards to the address below:

ATTN: COVID Care
Stonerise Healthcare
700 Chappell Road
Charleston, WV 25304

How to donate supplies

If you have extra unused supplies such as procedure masks, washable face shields and safety goggles, exam gloves, hand sanitizer, or cleaning masks, now is a good time to donate them. Many of us may have a stash of PPE (personal protective equipment) hiding in plain sight: Realtors with a stock of disposable shoe covers. Construction crews with safety goggles. Painters and homeowners with face masks. A couple with a two-year supply of bleach wipes.

Donations do not have to be big to be meaningful. While we are not in current need of supplies, we realize this could change if the Coronavirus were to spread rapidly in the local communities we serve. Please consider a donation to us, a healthcare worker you know, or your local hospital, nursing home or public health department. We are all in this together.

Please send unused PPE in original packaging to:
