VP Human Resources
Beth Nesselrodt is a human resources executive passionate about culture and human connections. As Vice President of Human Resources at Stonerise, she champions recruitment, culture, leadership development and training. In addition, she oversees all labor relation, HR policy and process, compensation, and benefits initiatives. Her team is responsible for HR support across Stonerise’s service lines, including transitional and skilled nursing centers, home health, hospice, therapy, and central services administration.
Beth’s career spans several HR specialty and leadership positions in the energy and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Stonerise in 2016, she was Director of Human Resources at Triana Energy in Charleston, where she led the HR function. She also spent nearly 20 years in human resources leadership at Columbia Natural Resources and their predecessor, Chesapeake Energy.
A native West Virginian, Beth received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and Organizational Leadership from Mountain State University. She is a member of her church’s music ministry among other volunteer efforts. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, both locally and nationally, and World at Work. Beth is active and passionate in the fight against melanoma, a very serious skin cancer that took the life of her daughter, Amy, in 2019.
Beth lives in South Charleston with her husband, Lawrence, who is the head baseball coach for West Virginia University Institute of Technology. Her greatest joy is her family, especially her three grandchildren. Beth also loves music, reading, riding bikes and traveling.
