Cynthia “Cindy” Wandling serves as Vice President of Clinical Quality & Clinical Operations for Stonerise Transitional Care Centers. Cindy is responsible for improving patient care and clinical outcomes within each of the 17 centers. She develops, implements and monitors standards, procedures and processes to meet clinical quality goals and regulatory requirements for licensure.
Cindy is a seasoned nursing professional with an extensive background in the healthcare industry, including acute care, case management, regulatory compliance and clinical operations. Cindy’s vision is to prioritize the best of patient care and outcomes while fostering a culture of compassion, quality and safety.
Cindy has held several clinical leadership roles, including, most recently, Director of Clinical Operations for Genesis, where she had clinical and regulatory oversight of 64 centers in six states. Prior to working in long-term care, Cindy worked as an acute care nurse. Cindy began her career as a certified nursing assistant in 1982 after graduating high school. To this day, she aspires to support each individual she encounters to grow continually in their professional and personal life.
Cindy earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Ohio University and a master’s in Nursing Leadership and Administration from Capella University. Cindy has been married for 14 years, and her two children and two “bonus” sons are her greatest blessing. A West Virginia native, Cindy is an active member of her church and enjoys exploring the country on her Harley-Davidson with her husband, Kerry.
