Chief Financial Officer
Jessica Hudson is the chief financial officer for Stonerise’s breadth of locations and service lines. Jessica has been a key Stonerise leader since its beginnings in 2009. She leverages extensive post-acute healthcare expertise and financial acumen to drive business results across Stonerise. She is responsible for leading the enterprise operations, enterprise financial (accounting, treasury, M&A, billing and collection), and human resource teams. She also plays a key role in facilitating executive team alignment and execution.
Jessica is a servant leader passionate about taking care of team members and the patients and patient families that Stonerise serves. “We are often our patient’s primary caretakers. That is an incredible responsibility, whether they are in our care for a short amount of time or a long time. It’s our obligation and commitment to help them feel loved and feel supported, whether it is making them feel at home with every small touch possible or helping them with the paperwork nightmare that healthcare creates today.”
Jessica began her career in accounting before supporting the launch of Stonerise. In her role at the Charleston firm of Pack, Lambert and Burdette PLLC (later merged with Suttle and Stalnaker), she specialized in healthcare for a decade. Her client service areas included internal and external financial reporting, regulatory reporting (Medicaid, Medicare and CMS), payroll, insurance and tax returns. She also served in an advisory role in skilled nursing center acquisition and strategy, including due diligence and proforma modeling. She received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from West Virginia State University.
Jessica lives in Charleston with her husband, Brannon, and two children. She loves watching her children’s activities, hiking and camping, and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
