VP Regional Operations, Transitional Care Centers
Mary Ferrell has served as the Regional Vice President for Stonerise Transitional Care Centers since 2015. Mary is responsible for the oversight of Stonerise centers in the Ohio Valley and Southern West Virginia, which includes ensuring quality outcomes and patient and family satisfaction. Mary is passionate about healthcare operations, and her teams are consistently recognized for superior performance.
With more than 30 years in the post-acute and transitional care spaces, Mary joined Stonerise because of the inherent company culture of truly caring about patients and team members. She is a licensed Skilled Nursing Home Administrator and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Concord University.
A member of the West Virginia Healthcare Association since 2003, Mary has served the organization in multiple positions, including president. Mary enjoys volunteering with the American Cancer Society, Fayette County Chapter, and Warm Hands, Warm Hearts, an outreach ministry that serves to provide gloves, coats, hats and socks to needy children and the homeless.
Mary has been married for 33 years and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, fishing and spending time at the lake with her family.
