VP Regional Operations, Home Health
As Regional Vice President for Stonerise Home Health, Scott Skeens is responsible for the growth and operational excellence of our home health agency locations across West Virginia and southeast Ohio. He manages key relationships with Stonerise partners and hospitals as well as providing key strategic and cultural leadership to our team members. He is passionate about providing communities, families and individuals quality choices for the care they need.
Scott has served in many operational leadership roles over the last 30 years, in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, he was Vice President of Operations for Home Health and Hospice and Process Improvement for Georgia’s oldest and largest nonprofit home health and hospice provider, Visiting Nurse Health System/Hospice Atlanta. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions at Chamberlin Edmonds, which has since been acquired by Emdeon and Change Healthcare.
Scott received his bachelor’s degree from Marshall University and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt through Emory University Continuing Education.
Originally from West Virginia, Scott and his family returned to the Mountain State in 2020 after several years in Woodstock, Georgia. Scott is very active in the community, including school band and drama volunteer work. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and children. They are big on board games and other activities.
