Tom Clark joined Stonerise as General Counsel in 2017. Tom focuses on business and financial matters, with active daily oversight of compliance, government affairs, risk management, infection control, union relations, human resources and claims management. His goal now, as throughout his career, is to find a way to implement the business goal rather than simply saying “no.”
Prior to joining Stonerise, Tom guided privately owned businesses and entrepreneurs in their business transactions for 20 years. His broad industry experience includes construction, healthcare (post-acute care providers, physician practices and hospitals), manufacturing, oil and gas and retail/restaurant. Tom was Partner at Flaherty, Sensabaugh Bonasso PLLC from 2011 to 2017. Prior to Flaherty, he practiced law at Lewis Glasser PLLC.
Tom received his law degree from University of Pittsburg School of Law. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government. He served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha-Putman from 2013 to 2018 and Highland Hospital Foundation from 2014 to 2017.
Originally from West Virginia, Tom lives in Charleston with his wife and two daughters.
